HISTORY

In 1999, BayStar Capital I, LP (an investment fund) was formed by Lawrence Goldfarb and others as a vehicle for making investments in public and private companies. In 2003, BayStar Capital II, LP was formed with partners to make similar investments. Both funds collectively invested over $1.5 billion of non-leveraged equity in more than 250 companies.

In 2005, Lawrence Goldfarb formed LRG Capital Group, LLC (“LRG Capital”), a California limited liability company, to act as the general partner of the BayStar Capital III Investment Fund (“BayStar Capital III”). In addition to its role as general partner to BayStar Capital III, LRG Capital provides financial advisory services to publicly-traded and private companies and, through its affiliates, operates a global investment and banking business for private companies across all industries. With offices in San Francisco and New York, LRG Capital invests in and represents companies on equity and debt placements, restructurings, recapitalizations, management buyouts and other strategic alternatives and alliances.
