TRADE + RISK MANAGEMENT PLATFORM OVERVIEW
The LRG Capital Group trade/risk platform will be utilized by both the Trading Desk and the Risk Management group of LRG Capital Group for the LRG BayStar Capital III Fund.
The platform is a specialized derivatives system that will manage the multifaceted needs of the Trading Desk. It will allow for efficient trade processing, precise management of risk, and performance evaluation. The trading architecture was built to allow for future growth.
FRONT OFFICE CAPABILITIES
- Fundamental analysis, credit analysis, negotiation and memorialization of self originated derivative paper
- In house legal and regulatory skill sets
- Complex screens for identifying key opportunities of market inefficiencies
RISK MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONALITY
- Performs scenario analysis through a wide set of curve/time manipulations
- Creates customizable “what if” portfolios that can be evaluated in isolation or in conjunction with existing portfolios
- Provides for back testing of trading strategies
TECHNICAL OVERVIEW
- Trades are captured through external trading platforms as well as through in house trade entry.
- Market data is collected through third party software that connects to trader-provided sources, as well as third party providers.
- Valuation is supported by both “as converted” as well as option valuation modes.
